【PJニュース 2010年5月17日】東アジアのNGO諸団体・市民運動家有志(徐勝実行委員長、前田朗事務局長)による「東アジア歴史・人権・平和宣言と行動計画」の作成が進められている。これは東アジアの近現代史を全面的に見直す過去清算のための平和宣言・行動計画で、日本の韓国併合(朝鮮併合)100年にあたる 2010年8月に完成させる予定である。
これはアフリカの奴隷制に焦点を当てながらも普遍性を持っている「人種主義、人種差別、外国人排斥および関連のある不寛容に反対する世界会議」(ダーバン会議)の宣言と行動計画(2001年)の精神を引き継ぐ活動である。

「東アジア歴史・人権・平和宣言」では東アジアにおける人種主義と人種差別を克服するために、その根源である戦争と植民地支配に視野を広げながら、日本と東アジア諸地域との関係史を振り返り、現在抱えている問題や向き合うべき課題を明らかにすることを目指す。第一次案は事務局が作成し、東アジア諸地域の運動体によって修正していく。
